2008 Summer League Report 26 June
A very close match between leaders Vagabonds and Taylormade resulted in a first defeat for Vagabonds. Rita Le Brocq and Keaven Taylor of Taylormade won both of their doubles games; coming back from 4-10 in one of them and Taylor also won the single 13-8 against Chris Romeril.
The lead is now closer with Vagabonds still in front but Outlaws 2 points behind with a game in hand and Taylormade in third.
Grantez moved into first place in Division two with a 6-0 win for the second week running and previous leaders Grouville were held to a draw by Wednesday Mob. Despite being the losers to Grantez, Pioneers won an outstanding match against Coin Tourgis 4-2 to bring them into third place.
Division three leaders Les Hirondelles returned to their winning form beating Liberators 4-2 and second and third teams Country Gang and Lollabouts drew.
