2008 Junior championship - round 3
The third round of the 2008 Junior championship took place at the home of the Carrefour Petanque Club.
Seven new youngsters joined the championship.
In the younger age group Zachary Martin was the most successful with 2 wins and a net score of +9. He was closely followed by Max Whelan who also had two wins and just two points less. Dominic Perez just pipped sister Jade for third place.
The senior age group was once again dominated by Jacob Romeril (12) whose experience competing in both club competitions and league matches against adult players is evident in his confident play. Laura Therin however also performed well and gained two wins with a +15. Stephen Tyler shows improvement and was placed third. Both Molly Jehan and Paige Therin were taking part for the first time and they drew for 4th place each with one win.
