Vagabonds 3 points clear with 2 matches to play.
Three teams tied one behind Les Hirondelles in Div Two.
League leaders Vagabonds kept up their winning ways with a 5-1 victory over St Mary, who are in turn in danger of relegation to Division Two.
Taylormade beat Coin Tourgis 4-2 to take them into joint second place with Grouville whose game against Admirals has been postponed until this Saturday (2 Feb).
Outlaws, having been making a late charge up the league, were held to a draw by Wrinkleys, who will value their point from the draw as it takes them one point further from the relegation places.
With just two more matches each, the first division is nearly complete and if Vagabonds maintain their winning form in their final games against Taylormade and Coin Tourgis, they will be champions. However, they face two tough matches to complete their season.
The results of the Division Two matches have ensured a very close race for the two promotion places. While leaders Les Hirondelles had a bye, they remain in a strong position; now with two games in hand on each of the three teams tied in second place.
Of these, Country Gang and Grantez each secured wins over bottom teams, Fleur de Lys and Liberators respectively. Grantez gained a further point from drawing their held over match against Bean around the Block.
Pioneers were held to a draw by Wednesday Mob and this has dropped them to fourth position due to their lower games difference.
Occidentals, just two points off the lead, have two games in hand so they are still in with a chance of a promotion place as are Wednesday Mob who have only played 8 of their matches.
