18 November 2007 Winter league report
Taylormade played an outstanding fixture against Admirals on Saturday and won this 5-1, bringing them up to equal third in Division One.
In Division Two Grantez also won their outstanding match against Liberators and this too took them to within one point of the top at that stage.
The scheduled fixtures for the 18th November resulted in a draw between second and third placed Grouville and Coin Tourgis with two of the games going to the final wire with Coin Tourgis taking them 13-12. Meanwhile, leaders Vagabonds were beaten by Taylormade resulting in a three way tie at the top of the league between Vagabonds, Grouville and Taylormade. Vagabonds and Grouville have a game in hand which is against each other and this is scheduled for 1 December. Outlaws had a convincing 5-1 against Admirals to take them to the middle of the league table.
Only two of the scheduled matches took place in Division Two, but one of these was between two of the leading teams; Country Gang and Bean around the Block. The home team took a clean sweep of all 6 games; however with Pioneers also winning their home game against Fleur de Lys, these two now top the second division.
