Inter Club league 16 July 2007
The Inter Club league match between Carrefour Petanque club and Jersey Club resulted in a win for the away team, which secures them the trophy as with 3 wins they cannot now be caught.
With the JPC players winning both triples and the three doubles, it needed just one more win from the singles games to secure a victory. It was appropriate that the first result in was a win by the JPC’s club captain Lawrence Rondel which clinched the match.
