Inter club league 18 June 2007
The second match in the JPA’s Inter club league between Carrefour Petanque Club and St Mary’s Petanque club was played last evening and resulted in a 7-4 win for the home team.
With Carrefour having taken both the opening triples games by the same 13-6 score, St Mary’s gained their first win in the doubles matches with Ken and Jeanne le Brun beating Joan le Roy and Daphne Therin 13-10 in a close game.
Honours were even in the singles games, with wins for Lol Therin, Daphne Therin and Roy Langlois of Carrefour and Robin Stockton, Ron Carter and Ken le Brun of St Mary’s.
